Generator / electronic ignition suitable for Simson bird series with or without fan coolin and bolted base plate ( no clamp assembly) as in Schwalbe KR 51/1, Star SR 4-2/1), Sperber sowie DUO 4/1
Attention: early KR51 and SR4-2 had a different ignition system (rotor with a different cone).
Output 12V/100W DC. Replaces the original 6 volt magneto ignition system. Can be driven completely without battery. Ignition impulse is effected fully electronically and without contact.
Replaces old Lima, regulators, breakers. There is no need to change the engine case.
The system is only DC (and no longer complicated DC and AC mix). The brake light and tail light no longer switch over.
The fan is not included. The original or remade fan can be assembled on the rotor.
